How to Make Veg Biryani | Vegetable Biryani

  Ingredients: 2 cups basmati rice 3 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oil 1 large onion, thinly sliced 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1 green chili, finely chopped 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, etc.) 1/2 cup diced potatoes 1/2 cup diced tomatoes 1/4 cup yogurt 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt, to taste 3 cups water Instructions: Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the ghee or vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until golden brown. Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chili. Sauté for a minute. Add the mixed vegetables, potatoes, and tomatoes. Sauté for 5-7 minutes.
